Taste button
Let your child discover a world of flavors with Knatteplock's pacifier. This pacifier comes with a wide handle that is easy for the little ones to hold. It also comes with three silicone pacifiers in three different sizes, where the smallest works from 4 months, the middle from 6 months and the largest from 10 months. For taste sensations at four months, the taste button does not need to be filled to the max – 1 krm (according to the Swedish Food Agency's recommendation) of puree is enough to provide taste training. For solid foods, such as a piece of strawberry, a little more can be added, as the baby will not be able to swallow it all.
A great way to give kids lots of flavor without the mess!
The taste button is also perfect for relieving sore mouths when teething and for providing children with nutrition when they are sick.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before first use, the product must be
disassembled, inspected, washed and then all components should be put back together
in boiling water for 5 minutes. Then let cool. Water may enter the pacifier due to the holes. Gently squeeze the pacifier to remove the water. This is to ensure good

Why choose our taste button ?
Common questions about our taste button
The taste button is a great tool when it's time to start taste training and introduce some food. It's a easy way to provide different taste experiences early on without a lot of mess. Many people start with taste sensations when the baby is between 4 and 6 months old, but it depends a bit on when the baby shows interest. Some start with taste sensations only at 6 months.
Many people tend to only put fruit and berries in the snack bar as this is a relatively easy and accessible option. There is nothing wrong with that, but it is often quite sweet flavors.
Babies don't need to practice sweet tastes to learn to appreciate them, they have a built-in preference for them. They do, however, need to practice sour and bitter tastes. Two basic tastes that are beneficial to practice early to increase acceptance of fruits and vegetables later in life.
A tip is to vary the contents of the taste button. Try to include vegetables AND fruit. Don't be afraid of sour and bitter flavors that can easily cause a little grimace. Grimaces are not always due to the baby not liking the taste, rather it is usually due to unaccustomedness.
Here are some tips on what to fill your snack box with:
- Peas (cooked and mashed)
- Grapefruit (sliced)
- Apple (boiled and mashed or grated)
- Turnip (boiled and mashed)
- Raspberries (raw and mashed)
- Carrot (boiled and mashed)
- Lingonberries (raw/cooked and mashed, possibly mixed with other things)
- Broccoli (cooked and mashed)
- Brussels sprouts (cooked and mashed)

With a taste button you can introduce taste sensations to your baby from 4 months.
The advantage of starting taste training early, between 4–6 months, is that there is more time to practice when the baby has a high acceptance of difficult tastes and new types of food. This increases the chances that the baby will learn to like healthy food.
